Built by brokers who do the deals themselves.
HyLend is a digital credit broker connecting UK businesses and family offices direct to lenders, whole of market, from £100k to £100m. Small team, senior attention on every file, and a platform that removes the parts of broking that waste your time.
Why we built it this way
Commercial finance broking has two habitual failures: opacity on cost, and handing your deal to whoever is free that day. We built HyLend against both. Our calculator shows every cost before you speak to anyone, our platform tracks every deal stage in the open, and the people who take your enquiry are the people who place your deal. There is no junior desk.
The same platform thinking runs through everything: applications land directly in our origination pipeline, introducers track their referrals and fees live through HIMS, and lenders receive only deals matching their stated appetite. Less friction at every join means faster completions, which in this market is frequently the whole game.
The team
Dominic Whitecross, Co-Founder & Group Director
Dominic co-founded HyGroup Holdings and leads HyLend, the group's debt advisory and capital raising platform, alongside HyLabs, its proprietary fintech arm. Within twelve months of active operations HyLend placed approximately £4.5m of debt across a range of commercial finance structures and advised on credit strategies scaled to £50m. His decade across FCA regulated financial services and legal practice shapes how every deal here is run: rigorous KYC, due diligence and documentation, negotiated hard with lenders and managed end to end. He holds a BA (Hons) in Marketing Management and a Graduate Diploma in Law, and works fluently in English and Polish across UK and European institutional relationships.
Edward, Co-Founder
Edward is Co-Founder of HyLend and HyGroup Holdings and a Director of Searle Capital. He specialises in real estate capital raising, acquisitions and structured finance on transactions from £1m to £100m+ across the UK, Europe and the GCC, structuring across the full capital stack: senior debt, mezzanine, preferred equity and special situations including distressed assets and recapitalisations. Before founding his own platform he spent over ten years in portfolio management and debt structuring at major US and Swiss banks in London. He holds an MSc in Finance from the London School of Economics and a BSc (Hons) in Economics & Finance from the University of Southampton, and is a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of World Traders.
